The successful silhouette of a SS20 dress, the Regenerated Drapery Dress, is revisited and injected with novelty this season, brought back as a recognizable tailoring piece. Due to constant research to optimize and improve patterns, this season’s Tailored Panels Flare Dress is structured through seven pieces in the main body. Its flower-like, slimming silhouette is emphasized by the use of houndstooth wool in two different check sizes. The smaller houndstooth check makes up the central pieces – front and back – as well as the shoulders of the dress, while the wider check is used for the sides, creating a playful visual effect which makes the bust and hips seem fuller. Both pure wool fabrics are woven in Italy by the same prestigious mill, which has a long tradition in tailoring fabrics.
